Blue-White Checkered Theater Acoustic Ceiling

The theater ceiling uses 600×600mm square wood wool acoustic panels arranged in a dark blue and off-white checkered pattern, supported by an exposed aluminum grid system. Round ceiling speakers and smoke detectors are embedded, harmonizing with the panel colors.

Theater spaces have large volumes and long reverberation times, making overhead absorption a key method for reverberation control. Wood wool panels combine decoration and sound absorption; the checkered design breaks the monotony of a plain white ceiling while retaining acoustic function.
