This recording studio uses vertical timber slat acoustic panels across the walls and corners. The gaps between slats form an air layer that provides both diffusion and absorption.
The slat structure scatters reflected sound and reduces coloration, while the backing cavity absorbs excess energy to create an even sound field suited to recording and mixing.
With natural wood texture, clean lines, light timber flooring and recessed lighting, the space feels professional and comfortable.
